Our Mission
Our mission is to identify and preserve Crispus Attucks and York County Black history and connect people to the Black community for the purpose of:
- Celebrating Crispus Attucks and Black history from the perspective of an Black living in York County
- Providing educational experiences to a wide audience in a unique and interactive way
- Creating a space to house exhibits and open dialogue surrounding past, present, and future racial issues
- Exploring ways to promote racial harmony.
Our Vision
The Crispus Attucks History & Culture Center of York County will preserve, share, and celebrate the history and values of Crispus Attucks and Blacks and other diverse communities in York County by educating, engaging and connecting audiences to their community so that lessons learned can be better understood, shared and used by all.
