Our Focus
Dedicated to Engaging a Diverse Audience
Engaging a Diverse Audience
At the Crispus Attucks York History & Culture Center (CAY HCC), we are dedicated to engaging a diverse audience. We welcome visitors from schools, universities, and special interest groups such as history enthusiasts and organizations committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We also encourage people from the local region as well as national, and international guests to visit our Center. We pride ourselves on being a destination for all who are eager to explore York’s rich African American heritage and cultural legacy. Our center also offers a unique venue for corporate events and retreats, where businesses can deepen their understanding of DEI principles while supporting our community-centered mission.
Our Work Goes Beyond Preserving History
We foster open dialogue around past, present, and future racial issues, promoting multicultural harmony and creating spaces for meaningful exchange. Through comprehensive community engagement initiatives, we invite the public to participate in educational programs, exhibits, and events that challenge perspectives and cultivate unity. We recognize the importance of community involvement and continuously seek to expand our outreach efforts to ensure all voices are heard and valued.
Committed to Advancement
As interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion grows, CAY HCC remains at the forefront, offering dynamic DEI-focused programming and events. We are committed to advancing these crucial conversations and providing opportunities for both individuals and organizations to learn, grow, and contribute to building a more equitable society. Through our initiatives, we aim to inspire lasting change and empower communities to embrace their shared history and collective future.
