Our Mission
Our mission is to identify and preserve Crispus Attucks and York County African American history and connect people to the African American community for the purpose of:
- Celebrating Crispus Attucks and African American history from the perspective of an African American living in York County
- Providing educational experiences to a wide audience in a unique and interactive way
- Creating a space to house exhibits and open dialogue surrounding past, present, and future racial issues
- Exploring ways to promote racial harmony.
Our Vision
The Crispus Attucks History & Culture Center of York County will preserve, share, and celebrate the history and values of Crispus Attucks and African Americans and other diverse communities in York County by educating, engaging and connecting audiences to their community so that lessons learned can be better understood, shared and used by all.
