CAY HCC Grand Opening Campaign

The grand opening campaign for the Crispus Attucks York History & Culture Center (CAY HCC) will generate excitement and anticipation within the community and beyond. Scheduled for 2025, this campaign will highlight the unveiling of the center’s interactive exhibits and experiences dedicated to exploring and celebrating York’s African American history and culture. Attendees will enjoy live coverage, cultural performances, interactive exhibits, and educational sessions at our Grand Opening in 2025. This celebratory event is designed to engage the community, foster a sense of pride, and establish CAY HCC as a vital cultural and educational resource!

“Support Our Legacy” Donor Campaign

The “Support Our Legacy” donor campaign seeks to inspire financial support from individuals, businesses, and community organizations to advance the mission of the Crispus Attucks York History & Culture Center (CAY HCC). By contributing to this campaign, donors help preserve and celebrate the rich history and culture of York’s African American community, while also supporting programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Your generosity will enable us to continue empowering individuals, fostering meaningful dialogue, and building a stronger, more inclusive future for all.

Share Your History Campaign

The “Share Your Black History” campaign is a community-driven initiative inviting locals to contribute artifacts and document their family histories, becoming integral parts of York’s rich historical tapestry. This activity encourages residents to submit artifacts, photos, letters, documents, and personal stories that reflect their heritage and experiences in York. By participating, individuals not only preserve their own histories but also help to create a diverse and inclusive narrative of the community’s past. These contributions will be featured in digital archives, exhibitions, and interactive displays, allowing the broader public to appreciate and engage with the personal and collective histories that shape York. This campaign aims to foster a sense of pride and ownership among residents while enriching the historical resources available for future generations!
